The Advocacy Committee coordinates local advocacy outreach efforts and is the primary communications point for CFA Institute advocacy initiatives − ethics, standards, and policy issues. A primary role for the position is to organize and lead a local Advocacy Committee in the planning and implementation of local advocacy activities potentially to include Member Education, Industry/Investor Outreach, and/or Regulatory Policy and Research.

Candidate Preparation Committee
The Candidate Preparation Committee develops relationships with local universities to inform local students about the CFA Designation. Participants on this committee support candidates through the CFA program and coordinate the forming of study groups. The Committee also awards class and exam scholarships to CFA candidates demonstrating merit and financial need.

Public Awareness Committee
The Public Awareness Committee will endeavor to increase awareness of the CFA charter amongst the general public, employers and other financial professionals through targeted marketing, engagement with relevant organizations, local media and special events. The committee is active in ensuring members of CFA Society Croatia receive pertinent information. Activities include writing and publishing updating content on the website, and developing our social networking outreach efforts (Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram).

Membership Committee
The Membership Committee acts on the society’s behalf to educate the community about the CFA charter and the benefits of becoming a member as well as actively recruit for membership. The chair provides Society updates to its membership, welcomes new members and they help link candidates with current members who can be sponsors for them.

Programming Committee
The Program Committee helps members to enhance their investment knowledge, professional practices, career development and professional networks. The committee plans and executes monthly educational presentations that provide opportunities for networking, professional education, career development and/or technical training. Committee members recruit thought leaders and prominent practitioners as speakers and create and deliver events of interest to members.

Technology Committee is responsible for society technology initiatives and efforts. The Committee deals with the web site development and will provide the forum for CFA charterholders in Croatia to interact on a professional and social basis.
